Dedicated Hosted: Servers
One big goal when the Court of Owls was created was that we wanted to be a huge hosting platform, for multiple games, and be known for hosting good and unique servers. While we don't have the proper funding to host servers right now, we definitely do have them all planned and they will all hopefully release in the immediate future.

Operation: Cova
Imagine an Mmo-RPG, that exists with the concept of a multiverse. In Cova, there are two main worlds, Cova itself, and the Abridged Zone. While in Cova, players can visit around the map seen above, with multiple islands, culture, races, and of course, loot everywhere. With several huge cities located across the world, the unique twist of Cova is that the cities are run by actual people, instead of just being exactly the same and never changing, growing, fading away similar to other games. Elected officials, store keepers, citizens paying taxes, all of it is in control of the people. Did your elected official make the elves mad? Well now everyone has to pay for higher tax imports on items only the Elves have. Collect money, purchase property, own businesses. But that's not the only thing, Cova is littered with quests, dungeons, and of course, raid bosses. Fight to the very death in the New World against people, monsters, and maybe even players. Now, imagine all of that is in Minecraft, kinda ruin it? Well sorry, we're not a billion dollar company who can afford to make an actual mmo rpg, so instead we've opted to making it in Minecraft, sorry if that may lead away some people, but once you get past that certain fact, we're sure everyone can find a place to enjoy in Cova. Thank you for reading.
Operation: Cova
Cova, while located in the game Minecraft, has heavily scripted and coded mechanics into the game that you'll definitely not find in your average server. While not all listed, feel free to read on some of the many changes to mechanics below, but before that, here's a description on everything you can do
The Abridged Zone: basically a survival world, all players are able to roam free and collect resources or fight the many monsters that pop up here. Unlike most servers, players are not able to "claim" land here, and everything can be destroyed, that is before the magic of the abridged zone warps itself into a new world. The way the abridged zone works is that, every week it resets, allowing for players a new and fresh chance at resources to collect. While not the main attraction of Cova, it's a necessity to go here to sometimes collect resources you can't find in Cova, and to fight the monsters that spawn here, or maybe spawn a Raid Boss to fight.
Cova: In Cova is where the real stuff happens. Not only are you able to visit zone to zone questing the main quest or doing the many optional side quests, but pretty much everywhere besides guarded areas like cities you can get attacked by not only monsters, but also players. Also, with set properties (residential and commercial) for sale, players can feel the ever blossoming effect of capitalism. Besides that, democracy exists in every city, but only according to a few. Are leaders going to play fair? Is that what politicians do? You will be able to do whatever you'd like, become an adventurer, mercenary for others, capitalistic businessman, and politician. It's all up to you.

changes to the base game
- All Current Cova Alpha Features. Anything with a * is not implemented yet, but it's being worked on.
- =============================
- Automatic Tool so it switches your inventory to automatically whatever tool you need
- Stronger Gold Items
- Bounties on players, as well as random bounties if you kill too many players without a bounty
- If more than half of the server is sleeping in a bed, night will go by faster.
- Prevent Combat Logging
- Ability to craft anything, like saddles, horse armor, etc
- Stronger Ender Dragon, with better loot, and respawning times
- End Portals can be used like an ender chest, they can't be blown up so they're 100% secure, unless someone uses a lockpick
- which can be acquired through quests
- Factions
- Advanced crafting system like in other servers where you don't need to know recipes
- Headshots with bows do 1.5% more damage.
- Crystals that you can obtain from grinding quests (which will be rare) can be put in your inventory and if you die, it will consume the crystal, but you will respawn with all your stuff.
- Karma System (Simliar to SAO = ) Killing a player grants -1 karma. If you have too much negative karma, you become a red player. Killing a red player will grant +1 karma, which when you have a lot you will become a green player, good so players know who they can trust
- Backpacks.
- *** Multiworld. There will be an rpg world where players will not be able to craft or anything. There will be a quest line and large cities as well as exploring, and dungeons with custom mobs. The world will have different property where players can rent apartment space, or buy huge properties like barns where they have a 100% guarantee no one can take their stuff (Will be VERY expensive)
- *** Custom Mobs
- Obsidian is breakable
- Seasons, there are seasons that occur every 30 minecraft days, Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. Each day for each season, a random effect will happen which may have a negative or positive effect. During night, there are no effects. (IE: Summer might have a "Boiling Hot" day, where if a player is wearing a full set of armor, they will begin to sweat and start taking damage, and if they aren't wearing any armor, will feel refreshed and gain a bonus
- People wearing armor are slightly slower than people without armor
- Vampirisim
- *** Races
- *** Custom NPCs
- Custom Enchantments, lots of them.
- Trails are created from a person when they walk on grass, may allow people to hunt trails (regrows after a cretain time)
- Torches break after a certain period because they burn out (Still testing time), Torches get destroyed in the rain, torches can't be placed on soft stuff, like grass, sand, and dirt(edited)
- Dropping from a really high distance will break your bones and grant slowness for up to 2/3 minutes
- Skeletons will switch to a sword and attack you if you get too close
- Any block you build will fall down, similar to sand. (More realistic buildings, nothing floating in the air)
- *** Disease
- If a player is walking in a snowy biome, they will become cold if they are fully nude, and will start taking damage unless they put on armor quick
- Chopping trees makes the other tree blocks to fall down, like in real life
- Players can get too tired when doing something and have to rest up in a bed
- Arrows can be enchanted and light anything on fire when they touch it
- You can get too heavy and if you are too heavy, you won't be able to swim in water
- Warns when item durability is low
- Mining stone will cost a LARGE amount of durability for a pickaxe. You'll need to travel through caves to find ores
- Cave-ins may happen if you weaken the stone around it too much
- Better TNT, for mining
- TNT can cause cave-ins
- Mining Netherrack causes a fire to be lit
- You can't make a straight pillar up into the air, and can't build a bridhe in the sky without blocks supporting
- Environment stuff, explosions, fire, falling, and suffocation do more damage and can give a temporary effect of slowing, blindness, or dizziness.
- Hitting a fire to extinguish it will light you on fire
- Dying doesn't replace hunger
- More Monsters
- Killing a zombie has a small chance of it coming back to life
- Zombies give you slowness when they hit you
- Silverfish spawn randomly
- Spiders drop web when they die
- Charged creepers spawn naturally, killing a creeper might drop tnt
- Blazes spawn in the nether naturally and near bedrock in the normal world, they will explode on death in the normal world because they are unstable
- Magmacubes turn into blazes when they die
- PigZombies are always aggresive
- Ghasts are invincible to arrows now, but drop way better loot
- Some crops are weak and will die if not tended correctly, need good light as well as water

Operation: Cova
Currently, as Cova is a very big project, it is still being worked on. After passing our successful alpha test, we prep for an open beta launch for our server. If you'd like to see close updates and more information on Cova, join our discord through the button.

Operation: Dinosaurs!
Ark: Survival Evolved is a great and fun game that combines the traditional survival mechanics with... dinosaurs. Ark was also built up around player-hosted servers, so here's going to be the Owl Attempt at it! We're trying for a more community based approach in this server and we'd like to host many events around for the players to experience, like maybe PvP tournaments, or build contests! just lots of stuff to bring the community together while also trying to survive the mean players and also kinda mean dinosaurs. lol
Operation: Dinosaurs!
Unfortunately, our Ark server has not launched yet as it does require quite a bit of funding which currently was deemed not worth it. It is on our to-do list, and some thing you could do is join our council discord and message them that you're interested in an Ark server, as that would definitely help and bring it up our to-do list!
